Punch Taverns, the British pub and entertainment group that leases, tenants and manages over 8,400 pubs in the UK, signed a deal with online casino developer Cantor Gaming. The new Pub-casino will include many games, baccarat among them.

Pub-casino will be licensed in Malta. In the beginning, it will offer blackjack, roulette, video poker, slots and baccarat. Additional poker and bingo products will be added subsequently, according to the demand and suggestions from casino users.

The initiative had to overcome rumors at the recent European Interactive Gaming Congress and Expo (EiG), which took place in Barcelona. Good news are, in order to publicize the launch and attract players to their website, they will offer matchplay bonuses up to $800.

Cantor Gaming, which will be powering Pub-casino, also powers FHM Casino and Cantor Casino. Although it is not certain, some reports still link Cantor Gaming with assisting the developing of an online casino from Las Vegas Sands, aimed to reach European gamblers.
